We're in the endgame now 🇵🇹

🇵🇹 Lisboa
We went to a midnight kebab, but I had to shorten the night and be escorted by Martin with another Uber (doubled my life-time count in one night!)
The morning was a long lazy one, until I went for a life-saving McDonald’s. And while I ate, it came: 13:15.
It’s official. I’ve spent 24 h IN EACH COUNTRY! GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!
Feeling much better, I headed out for the last laundry. I finally left the hostel again in the middle of the afternoon and took a long bus to the Tower of Bélem. Magnificent piece of a building!
I stayed there for a while, exploring the area, with notably the HUGE monument dedicated to the Great Portuguese sailors of old, Magellan and all that band.
I took a tram (not the old ones though) to another nice place, but I was still tired and not in great shape.
A metro and I was back at the hostel. I went out for dinner and chilled.
Not a lot to say about today, but what about the rest of the month? Here goes the last bi-weekly summary!
June, june, june, june. Hot, expensive, mostly lonely, challenging, but fucking amazing! San Marino, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Vatican City, Malta, Monaco, Andorra, Spain and Portugal, and revisiting Italy, Austria and France.
I didn’t face many major travel issues, except for that last Portuguese strike that left me peering at the last step from above the border (figurative) fence in Badajoz. Which, if my calculations are exact, the 100th city in which I slept on this trip(!), in 40 countries. Not counting the seven night trains, two of which were this month in Italy. Talking about sleeping, it’s this month that I had my two and only nights on the street, in Vatican City and Monaco.
This month started with a few nights with my old friend Nicolas in Switzerland, and I travelled for a few hours with my mom in Southern France.
Now I have one week left, one last week to get home, with a few detours, through Portugal, Spain and France. Porto, Madrid, Zaragoza, Toulouse, Gargas, and home.
Already.
Train count: + 2 (including 1 metro and 1 tram)
Total: 319
