Rain, waffle, and some more rain 🇧🇪

🇧🇪 Brugge → Brussel
Unfortunately, it’s a very rainy day in Brugge [Bruges]. Kévin and I still went for a walk through most of the old town, marvelling at the beauty of the Markt and its Belfry, the tiny streets, the various churches, the weird statues of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, spreading their creeping death over the land, the canals and their waterfront… All of that is extremely cute and I loved it a lot.
However we got really drenched, and had to take cover several times, taking a waffle or lunch. Hence, we decided to go directly to the train station in the early afternoon, and move on directly to Brussel [City of Brussels], and plan once there.
An hour of train and we were quickly at the hostel. It’s another very nice four-bed dorm, quite comfy, so we decided to get a rest for the rest of the afternoon.
We still went out for dinner and since the weather had finally calmed down, we decided on a stroll towards what appeared to be a church, but turned out to be none other than the Grand Place. Wow, by night, it is gorgeous. That was a very pleasant surprise!
And then it rained.
Train count: + 1
Total: 39

Is it from there that the famous Jeff de Bruges chocolates come from ?
Did you get to eat any ?
Given the prices, I barely managed to restrain myself.
That was tough.
