Two French walks into Bar, Crna Gora... 🇲🇪

🇲🇪 Prčanj → Muo → Škaljari → Bar, Crna Gora
Ever wanted to wake up to stunning scenery, day after day? Then come open some shop around Kotor!
This morning, the clouds are low over the bay of Kotor, giving it that awesome mystic appearance. Pictures talk for themselves I guess.
We tried to go to the bus station by hitchhiking, but unlike in Albania, Montenegrins don’t seem to be as friendly. We ended up walking for over an hour from Prčanj to Škaljari (the town just south of Kotor where the bus station is), through Muo. At least we got to admire the insane scenery in the morning.
We arrived perfectly, 10 min before the bus. I sneakily didn’t pay for the luggage, ehe. The drive was beautiful, even though rainy, along then coast, passing again through Budva, and this time in front of the picturesque Sveti Stefan. We got chatting with a fellow French backpacker, who had spent a month and a half in the Balkans (that’s courageous!) She asked if I had a tips and advices part on my website, which is actually a great idea. So watch this space. 👀
We arrived in Bar, Crna Gora [Bar, Montenegro] under grey clouds, but decided to stay there for the night. We got a super quick airbnb, and before long the clouds faded away. We went for a walk in the center, visited a beautiful church from the 2010s, and had a great walk on the beach. Seriously, the mountains finishing their courses in the water in the distance, and the beach under our feet, you would have thought you were on a Carribean island. Beautiful, and very low on tourists. We’re pretty sure it was mostly locals there.
Kamel tried a delicious brand of cola, called Cockta. It also took one all within my hands and into my thirsty stomach. Turns out it is a Slovene brand. Oh sweet Slovenia, how many more tricks have you up your sleeves?
In the evening we went to a delicious and cheap restaurant, and somehow managed to get back home between two diluvians thunderstorms.
